S-M1 Eight Row Styles
The Library's monster list on one phone screen, each row drawn in a different style, numbered at its top-left corner. Same eight creatures, words and tags as the capture. Styles 2, 3 and 4 use the machine's serif (Georgia) as a stand-in for a book-like typeface; the real typeface is still to be chosen.
Round four. M1a's strip with the colour wash; the baseline.
Parchment. Warm paper, a serif name whose first letter takes the creature type's colour, italic detail line.
Field guide. A specimen label: double ink rule, small capitals, the type stamped at an angle in its colour.
Leather tome. A dark bound card with a gilt inner line; the type's colour as a small jewel.
Arcane. A night-blue card with the type's colour glowing in from the left edge.
Ink brush. No card: the page itself, with a brushed stroke of the type's colour behind the name.
Tabletop card. A header band in the type's colour carrying the name and book, the detail beneath.
Stained glass. A pane of the type's colour set in dark lead lines.
